Pictures From The Wisteria Lanes of Rome

I called these “Easter flowers” for years because of when they are in full bloom, but Leo has informed me they are wisteria. Without further ado, some stunning pictures from my Easter passeggiata in Rome.

  1. Those are in bloom right now in San Francisco too!

From a distance they remind me of grapes hanging from vines.

I’m still finding it hard to believe it’s spring, seeing as I just came from fall!

  2. These pictures are really just gorgeous. They do not look like they could possibly be real. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I loved your story yesterday, and I love the pictures today. You know, I first carried you on a walk around Rome on Easter Sunday with daddy. I am happy to know that you repeated that walk on your own all these years later.

  4. My first thought when I looked at these? That cheesey but beautiful poem:
She walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry nights
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes

    That’s totally you.
