How Many Countries Can You Name In Five Minutes?

I can name 86.

(Created by OnePlusYou – Free Dating Sites)

There is supposed to be a cute graphic that goes with this, but WordPress is being strict and demanding. Try it yourself and let me know how you did! WARNING: Click on the “86” and GET READY, because the clock starts immediately.  And, you don’t have to press enter; the site will recognize correctly spelled counties and automatically clear the entry box.

Ready? GO!

  2. @nyc/caribbean ragazza – I’m a map geek. I actually don’t have a world map in my house right now, which irks me. I just went right up and down the map, from west to east, in my mind. The thing that really tripped me up was my typing!!

  3. I got 54. I suck because I know my map! I either got the name wrong five times (england, great britain? no, UNITED KINGDOM), or my spelling tripped me up.

I love stuff like this. Have you played the game on tripadvisor.com where you place the flag as close to the locations as you can get? It’s HARD.

  4. @supermatt41 – I’ve lost more than one work day on that &*^$! game!!! Also, on this one the Netherlands tripped me up – I wanted Holland.

  5. 88

  6. I got 86…that with a one minute pause when a coworker barged in my office. I was a savant with maps as a kid and went through the map mentally. The spelling screwed me up too – Guinea? Guyana? I didn’t even try to type some countries (Liechtenstein?) argh! And Holland/Netherlands slowed me down as well…

  7. Ok. I have to confess… 88 at the third attempt: first time program did not work and I filled all the countries on the same line lol; the second I tried to write countries in english because I was not sure about them… isn’t valid?
