UnbeLIEVable Travel Experience In Italy

Jax and I got up this morning and went to breakfast in the hotel.  It was raining and chilly, so we decided to head back to Rome early.

We checked out and took the bus to Ischia Porto (we were in Ischia Ponte).  We bought tickets for the next boat, which was parting immediately.  We got a taxi at Molo Beverello immediately.  There was no traffic in Napoli (no more than usual).  We bought tickets on the new swanky EuroStar AV train, which was parting immediately.  We played cards on the train and when we got to Termini, we walked directly onto a 105 bus that left immediately.

No strikes, no inexplicable stops, no traffic, no horrible passengers, no stifling lack of air, nothing.  Three and a half hours, door to door.

I wanted to write about this, to remember.  Because this NEVER, EVER HAPPENS.
