You see these all over Rome, but these are some of my favorites that I see almost every day while I’m traipsing around my neighborhood. This one is carved into the aqueduct.

Oh my, this is, in a nutshell, why I am crazy for Italy. I love me a religious icon. I would love to have the last one hanging in my home. Amazing.
WHY do I live in Indiana? Must move. Italy. Now.
For all their flaws, the Italians have so many things right. Their understanding of beauty in every way is just about the most wonderful.
I do not have to tell you how lucky you are walking around and seeing such sights. It is like an art museum. I hope I am still in your pocket when you see such great and beautiful sights. Love ya, Aunt Dot
This is truly one of my favorite things about Rome! Thank you for this little trip away… Ciao, bella!
